This cruise was easily one of the highlights of our Istanbul trip. We booked the Classic Bosphorus Cruise in the late morning to avoid the crowds, and it was the perfect decision. From the very first moment we stepped onto the yacht, the crew welcomed us with warm smiles and incredible hospitality. The yacht itself was spacious, clean, and elegantly arranged for our private group of six.
As we sailed smoothly along the Bosphorus, we passed famous landmarks like the Dolmabahçe Palace, Ortaköy Mosque, and Rumeli Fortress, all while enjoying a quiet and relaxed atmosphere without the rush of sunset tours. I especially loved the calmness of the water during the day—it allowed us to fully appreciate the beauty of Istanbul’s shoreline from a unique angle.
The crew offered us delicious Turkish tea and coffee, and we even ordered some snacks to enjoy during the cruise. The music was kept soft in the background, allowing us to have great conversations with our friends while still taking in the peaceful vibe of the Bosphorus.
We stopped near the Maiden’s Tower to take some beautiful group photos—definitely a memory I’ll treasure. Unlike some other touristy boat trips, this was private and unrushed. The crew let us enjoy the time at our own pace.
If you’re looking for a relaxed and authentic Bosphorus experience without the busy sunset crowds, I highly recommend doing this cruise during the day.
