At 10:00 AM, your private guide and driver will meet you at your hotel to begin a scenic trek through the Red and Rose Valleys, two of the most breathtaking landscapes in Cappadocia.

Along the way, you will encounter numerous rock-cut pigeon houses, ancient churches carved into the cliffs over a thousand years ago, and panoramic views of Uchisar Castle. The 1.5-hour hike concludes in Cavusin, a fascinating abandoned Greek village known for its dramatic rock formations and stunning views.

Cavusin was deserted in the 1950s due to rockfalls, but its unique architecture and historical charm remain intact. After taking in the spectacular scenery, we will head to Uchisar Castle Viewpoint, offering a magnificent panoramic view of the region’s tallest rock-hewn fortress. For lunch, we will dine at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy an authentic Cappadocian specialty, Pottery Kebab, a slow-cooked dish prepared in a sealed clay pot and served in a dramatic tableside presentation.

Following lunch, we will visit the Goreme Open Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. This remarkable monastic complex is home to some of the best-preserved rock-cut churches in Cappadocia, adorned with vivid frescoes that depict biblical scenes and the history of Eastern Orthodox Christianity. Your guide will provide insights into the significance of these murals and their artistic styles.

Next, we will drive to Mustafapasa (Sinasos) Village, a town that once housed both Turkish and Greek communities until the population exchange of 1924. The village features beautifully preserved historic Greek mansions, an Ottoman-era madrasah, and a centuries-old church, offering a glimpse into Cappadocia’s multicultural past.

Our final stop will be Urgup, where you will visit a picturesque site showcasing Cappadocia’s most iconic fairy chimneys, known for their unusual formations and photogenic appeal.
