Embark on a historical journey from Kusadasi port! Visit Ephesus’ ancient ruins, Isa Bey Mosque, Mother Mary’s shrine, Temple of Artemis, and more. Enjoy Turkish carpet making and a fun Leather Fashion Show to end.
The tour begins with a meeting at Kusadasi port. Our first stop will be Isa Bey Mosque, a remarkable example of 14th-century architecture, blending Seljuk and Islamic styles.
Afterward, we will drive to Ephesus, a key ancient Greek and Roman city on the western coast of Asia Minor. In Ephesus, we will visit the famous Celsus Library, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Trajan Fountain, all significant structures from its time as a thriving Roman city.
We will stroll along the historical Marble Street and reach the Great Theater, where St. Paul is believed to have preached. This impressive structure with a seating capacity of 25,000 offers a glimpse into the grandeur of ancient performances.
In the afternoon, we will head to a Turkish carpet cooperative, where you’ll have the opportunity to see traditional Turkish carpets being woven by hand. Skilled artisans will demonstrate their craftsmanship, and you can learn about the intricate techniques involved. Next, we will visit the House of Virgin Mary, believed to be the site where she spent her final years.
It is a place of peace and spiritual significance, attracting many pilgrims from around the world. We will also stop at the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Although much of the temple remains in ruins, it is still an important historical and archaeological site.
To end the day, we will enjoy a Leather Fashion Show, where local artisans showcase their finest leather creations in an exciting and fun display. This is a unique opportunity to see how Turkish leather products are made and to shop for high-quality pieces.

Guests must be able to walk approximately 2 miles over uneven and cobblestone surfaces, inclines and 10 - 30 steps. Comfortable shoes, a hat and plenty of sunscreen are recommended as shade is limited. The order of the tour itinerary may vary in order to avoid congestion. Guests should watch their step at all times in order to avoid injuries.
